[17:8]  ⁶ sn Your wings. The metaphor compares God to a protective mother bird.

[94:9]  ⁷ tn Heb “The one who plants an ear, does he not hear? The one who forms an eye, does he not see?”

[119:82]  ⁸ tn Heb “my eyes fail for your word.” The psalmist has intently kept his eyes open, looking for God to intervene, but now his eyes are watery and bloodshot, impairing his vision. See Ps 69:3.
